Living Our Blessed Life

This year has been very hard on virtually every last one of us. There have been many days when putting on a happy smile and pressing onward with things like fitness goals has felt impossible, if not ridiculous. Things we all took for granted at one time are no longer the same. It's an unsettling time, frightening for many, and debilitating for some.

When it all feels so overwhelming, I take a moment and try to put it all in perspective. I am reminded of the quote, "this too shall pass," and I think about what I want my life to look like on the other side of all this.

I know I want my family together, healthy and happy. I know I want this to be a time where my progress in fitness, as well as every other aspect of my life, continues and that I come out of this a better person.

To achieve that goal, I have some obstacles to overcome that were not there before, so it will take some creativity, discipline, and it will be hard at times, but it has to be done. I think having others to talk to that share similar goals and challenges helps a great deal. We can get ideas on how to do things better, but we will always be stronger together.

If you have not joined the Blessed Bodywear Facebook Group, I want to invite you to do so now. It's a place where many of our Blessed family members reside and an excellent place to share our challenges and get support from friends who care.
